Dear All,


Good day! I hope this message of mine finds you well at your places of reside. I am here to write in detail of what we are going to be subjected to for the next semester's 2 units of Kokurikulum.

In the next semester, the Kokurikulum activity shall be offered and administered by the Bahagian Persatuan dan Pengantarabangsaan, Pusat Perkembangan Pelajar, UKM. Under its provision, two different courses will be offered to students of the July 2008 intake which are HHHE2012 Kursus Pengurusan Persatuan and HHHG2012 Kursus Lanjutan Program Badan Beruniform. Of those two modules, students are to choose ONLY ONE of their preference.

For the HHHE2012 Kursus Pengurusan Persatuan, there are altogether 25 sets on offer. Each set can accommodate a maximum of 100 students to its quota. (25 sets x 100 students = 2,500 students in total). You are at liberty to choose ONLY ONE of those 25 sets on offer on the SMPWeb. However, as of now, we are not granted access to register for the module until the Horsemanship final examination result is known in June. Only in early July are we entitled for registering.

The HHHE2012 Kursus Pengurusan Persatuan will be conducted on a 12-week basis which is divided into 6 weeks of theoretical lectures at the campus and another 6 weeks of weekly attachment with a youth organisation, such as, Rakan Muda, mountaineering clubs, NGOs, or any other youth establishments of your choice.

You will be undergoing internship with the organisation on weekends to assess your level of leadership competency, communication skills, programme administering, community networking, peer grouping, teamworking, report writing, marketing, outsourcing, and the like, which shall be taught earlier during the 6-week on campus theoretical lectures.

As for the other module, HHHG2012 Kursus Lanjutan Program Badan Beruniform, it will be offered only to students who have had basic paramedic skills and active involvement in the Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia (PBSM). It is opened to a limited placement of 60 students to meet its quota.
